   An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a Research & Development (R&D) Projects Officer to support the large and diverse portfolio of clinical research carried out at the Trust. The R&D Projects Officer’s wide-ranging duties include providing extensive and dedicated support to the Head of R&D Operations, as well as contributing to projects and other activities which cut across the Trust’s specialist R&D teams. They will also work closely with colleagues from the University of Oxford within the Joint Research Office (JRO), an established partnership between the Trust and the University.

   The successful candidate will be a graduate (or have equivalent experience), who has worked as a personal assistant and has experience of managing projects. They must be an effective team worker with excellent planning, organisational and communication skills, including the use of relevant Microsoft software.

   The R&D Projects Officer’s main base will be with the Trust’s R&D teams at offices in Cowley, but working at the JRO’s other sites in Headington will also be required. The position is available full or part-time (0.8 – 1.0 FTE), for 22 months initially.
