Consultant in Restorative Dentistry

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Restorative Dentistry, at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a substantive replacement post and is a 6.5 PA Job Plan.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver high quality specialist secondary and tertiary care Oral Cancer Rehabilitation services at the OUH as part of the Head and Neck MDT which extends across the Thames Valley Cancer Network. There are also opportunities to work closely with other Consultant colleagues, including Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons and Orthodontists in the provision of treatment for congenital hypodontia and complex facial trauma.

The successful candidate would be expected to have Prosthodontic and Dental Implantology experience. They would be expected to uphold relevant management duties for the proper functioning of the department and participate in clinical audit and clinical governance.

You must have full GDC registration and be on or within 6 months of eligibility of inclusion on the specialist list in restorative dentistry.
