An exciting opportunity ha arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated nurse to join Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust Sexual Health Service. We are looking for a highly skilled autonomous nurse to lead the day to day management and development of the nursing team. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain standards of nurse delivered care and lead on ensuring first class patient experience. You will need to be an innovative individual who possesses excellent communication skills including a non-judgemental attitude.

You will need to take a proactive approach to service development as progressing the integration of Sexual Health nursing practice is a key aspect of this role. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work within multi-disciplinary team is essential.

As this post has a 50% clinical element which will involve working as a member of the Sexual Health Service in clinics across Oxfordshire the successful applicant will need to demonstrate high standards in clinical care and have the ability to improve quality and patient satisfaction.

The successful applicant should have:

Significant post-registration experience
Experience of working at an advanced practice level in GU Medicine and or family planning and contraception
Post graduate specialist study
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Experience of multidisciplinary collaborative practice
Proven leadership and organisational ability
IT skills
