Due to internal promotion we are actively seeking a Band 7 RN/RCN/ ODPs to lead our Specialist teams in Scrub with a special interest in Emergency and Vascular

The successful candidate will be required to provide strong, visible, clinical leadership across our theatre suites and ensure delivery of high quality patient care within our areas. Candidates thinking of applying will be able to evidence strong leadership skills, a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. You will be innovative, creative, and proactive and be able to demonstrate a vision for service improvement.

The NOTSSCaN Theatres provide expertise and excellence in elective and emergency surgery including adult and care of the child. We deliver care across the following specialties: ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Neuro, Paediatric Ortho /General, Max Facs surgery, Major Trauma, Spinal, Vascular and Acute General Surgical Emergencies. The operating theatres offer a wide range of general and specialist clinical services with links to the Oxford Universities for education, training and research. NOTSSCaN Theatres represent a dynamic centre on which to build upon clinical experience and professional development.

In return you will be supported by a dedicated team made up of Senior Theatre Management Team, Practice Educators, Multidisciplinary Clinical Directorate Teams and the NOTSSCaN Divisional team.  We have educational opportunities to support your development and career progression embedded into our comprehensive Education Strategy. Any prospective applicants should be educated to degree level or working towards that level or above.

Full time posts are available which include a commitment to day / night rotation, Bank Holiday, weekend working and on-call participation.
