We are looking for Assistant Practitioners to join our team on the Orthopaedic Short Stay Unit (OSSU) and Theatre direct admissions (TDA) at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. OSSU is a fast paced high turnover ward which cares for patients undergoing Orthopaedic day surgery and short stay surgery.    The post will involve working with the registered nurses to care for a caseload of patients undergoing day surgery.  TDA is where we prepare patients for surgery who require a longer stay.

 

The role requires an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible approach with excellent communication skills to enable you to be involved with and undertake a variety of tasks to assist with the smooth delivery of care to ensure the best outcome for our patients. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate compassion and commitment to deliver high standards.

 

The post available is for 36 hours per week.

Applicants must have the foundation degree.
