This role is critical to the effective delivery of physiotherapy in gynaecology, Uro-gynaecology,  obstetric, colo-rectal, Urology  and sexual health care for Women and Men attending the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH).

 Therapy services in OUH are highly valued and seen as a critical part of the effective delivery of multi-professional care. We do this through a responsive and person centred model, underpinning the core Trust value of “delivering compassionate excellence”.

 Key responsibilities include:

·         To deploy advanced level clinical knowledge and skills in care for those presenting with Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy conditions.

·         To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own clinical practice

·         To plan and coordinate therapy provision on a daily basis to ensure the demands placed upon the service can be met

·         To establish and maintain effective working relationships with primary and secondary care services forming effective partnerships to facilitate patient care without delays or fragmentation.

·         To work collaboratively with the Head of Therapies to design and implement a service strategy that aspires to be highly responsive, person-centred and clinically excellent.

·         To work collaboratively with the clinical and managerial leaders contributing to the operational and strategic objectives of the division.
