A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Emergency Department Informatics Team.

This is an admin based role with no patient contact required.

This addition to the team is required to ensure effective use of resources and methods to generate, store, retrieve and demonstrate safe, appropriate use of relevant information within the Emergency Department / Trust in order to ensure and maintain patient safety, facilitate performance improvement and increase financial income generation over both JR and Horton Emergency Departments.

Applicants must have 5+ years experience in Emergency nursing, preferably at Band 5/6 level or above, with proven managerial experience and good current knowledge of the EPR / Firstnet system. Full training will be given.

Must be able to work both as part of a small team and also autonomously, adhering to team / Trust guidelines.

Post will ideally be based at the Horton, but willingness to travel to the Horton when required is essential.
