OXFORD RADCLIFFE HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST

SWINDON RENAL UNIT

FULL-TIME HAEMODIALYSIS BAND 5 STAFF NURSE ( 37.5 hrs per week)

Due to the expansion of the twilight haemodialysis service we are looking for a registered nurse who is interested in trying the area of haemodialysis and looking after the renal patient in a forward thinking an innovative way. We are actively encouraging patients to take more part in their care (shared care) and this is an ideal opportunity for nurses to engage in an interactive environment incorporating teaching and learning with our haemodialysis patients.

Professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported to enable the successful candidate to develop and enhance clinical expertise and assist with career development as part of a big University Hospital that is moving towards Magnet status.

You will be an integral part of the small and friendly nursing team and provide individualised care to renal patients.

Good communication, organisational and leadership skills are essential.

You will be a qualified RGN with evidence of working within the acute hospital setting for a period of time. Evidence of working within the renal and/or haemodialysis speciality will be given priority.
