   We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse or occupational therapist to join the Oxford Psychological Medicine clinical team. You will have the opportunity to join a small team delivering a new way of caring for older medical inpatients as part of The HOME Study. The HOME Study is a major NIHR-funded clinical trial.

   You will play a vital role in The HOME study Proactive Psychological Medicine team, in Oxford. You will work with experienced psychiatrists and other member of the ward teams to identify and manage problems that may delay patients' discharge from hospital. 

   You will be based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and may also spend some time at the Horton Hospital, Banbury.

   You will receive comprehensive training and regular supervision from the senior clinicians and clinical researchers on the team. The role requires excellent communication skills, clinical experience in ‘liaison psychiatry’, the capability to work confidently with older people and clinicians in the general hospital setting. You will need to follow study protocols and standard operating procedures.
